Energy consulting and feasibility analysis

Before you decide how many panels to order, it's worth knowing how many you actually need. We analyse your consumption and give you a realistic feasibility estimate, without pressure to order a bigger system than you need.

Why consulting is the first step, not the last

The most common mistake in solar investments is the "bigger is better" logic. In practice, an oversized system relative to actual consumption extends the payback period, while an undersized one fails to capture the full savings potential. Consulting starts with your electricity bills, not an equipment catalogue.

What the analysis includes

  • Consumption analysis — based on electricity bills for the prior period, accounting for seasonal variation.
  • Site potential assessment — orientation, tilt and any shading of the roof or plot.
  • System type selection — grid-tied, hybrid or off-grid, depending on your goal (savings, independence, or both).
  • Payback period estimate, with and without subsidy.
  • Equipment recommendation matched to your budget and the system's expected lifespan.

Indicative payback period

Based on common market practice, grid-tied systems (without batteries) typically pay back in around 5 to 7 years, while hybrid systems with battery storage pay back in 8 to 12 years, depending on consumption, equipment cost and subsidy level. Photovoltaic systems have a service life of 25 to 30 years, meaning that for most of that period the system effectively produces electricity at no further cost.

These figures are indicative and depend on each individual case — which is exactly why we run the analysis separately for every site, rather than off a generic table.

Energy efficiency before investing

Before sizing a plant, it's often worth checking whether consumption itself can be reduced without investing in production — through better insulation, replacing inefficient appliances, or changing usage habits. Lower consumption means a smaller, cheaper system with the same effect on your electricity bill.

Who this service is for

  • Households wanting a clear calculation before committing to an investment.
  • Businesses comparing their own energy production against other savings measures.
  • Wind energy investors who need an independent assessment before entering a project.

Frequently asked questions

Does the consulting commit me to further cooperation?

No. The feasibility analysis is a standalone service that gives you a clear picture before deciding — any further steps, such as ordering the project, are entirely up to you.

What is the feasibility estimate based on?

It's based on your actual annual consumption from electricity bills, the orientation and available area for panels, equipment cost and, where applicable, the subsidy amount.
